Buckeyes Win 37-17! A truly dominating performance in Happy Valley. The offense was the star this time, attacking on every drive. The defense wasn't bad either, giving up only an opening drive touchdown. The future is bright. Just keep on focusing game-by-game. Go Bucks! Big Ten School Review Overall Rating: ***** Beaver StadiumProbably the loudest stadium in the Big Ten. The Nittany Lion fans love Papa Joe, and the annoying lion roar whips the crowd into a frenzy throughout the game. In most stadiums, the Buckeye fans make their presence known. At Happy Valley, those cheers are drowned out. A definite rival to Ohio Stadium. Fans Penn State includes some of the nicest, most welcoming fans we have encountered. They know football, they enjoy meeting new people, and were very helpful to us during our stay. Tailgating/Parking There is more than adequate parking around the stadium. Right next to the football stadium is the Bryce Jordan Center, which provides the most parking. Tailgating is very traditional at Penn State. No outlandish activities, but definitely worthwhile to check out. Nightlife/City Atmosphere A typical college town, University Park includes a strip of clubs and restaurants right next to campus. We definitely recommend checking out College Avenue. There are plenty of clubs to choose from, and some excellent after-bar pizza choices. |
